AI for Dental Practices
Dental practices lose revenue in ways that are entirely preventable: no-shows that leave the chair empty, patients overdue for their recall who haven't been contacted, and patients who haven't been in for two years sitting untouched in the system. Each of these is a follow-through problem - and AI handles follow-through reliably.
Here's what we build.
1. Appointment Reminders & Confirmation
We connect to your practice management software - Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or Curve Dental - and send automated reminders at 72h, 24h, and same-morning before each appointment. Patients who don't confirm get a follow-up. Cancellations trigger a waitlist offer to fill the slot.
Fewer empty chairs. Less time spent on the phone by your front desk.
2. Recall Reminders
The standard 6-month recall is your most reliable revenue stream - and the one most practices manage inconsistently. We build an automated recall sequence that goes out at the right interval for each patient, based on their treatment plan.
Patients who don't respond to the first message get a second. Patients who still don't respond get flagged for a personal call by your team. The automation handles the first two touches so your staff is only spending time on the patients who actually need a human.
3. Reactivation for Lapsed Patients
Most practices have hundreds of patients in their system who haven't been in for 18 months or more. These aren't lost patients - they're uncontacted ones.
We build a reactivation sequence for lapsed patients segmented by how long they've been gone. 18 months gets a different message than 36 months. Patients with outstanding treatment plans get a specific note referencing what was recommended. The sequence runs on its own and surfaces results for your front desk to review.
4. Post-Appointment Review Requests
Happy patients rarely leave reviews without a prompt. We add an automated review request to your post-appointment follow-up, going out 24 hours after a visit when the experience is still recent. Patients who respond positively get directed to Google. The request is short and the path to leaving a review is direct.
5. Treatment Plan Follow-Up
Patients who accept a treatment plan verbally and then go quiet before scheduling are a consistent revenue leak. We build an automated follow-up that goes out 1 week and 3 weeks after the plan is presented, with a clear next step and a booking link. If they don't respond, they get flagged for a call.
6. Insurance & Benefit Expiration Reminders
Patients who have unused insurance benefits at year-end are a reliable source of last-minute scheduling demand - if you contact them before they forget. We build a campaign that goes out in October and November to patients with remaining benefits, with a specific prompt to book before December 31.
How We Work
- Audit - We review your recall rate, no-show rate, and lapsed patient list. We find where the biggest gaps are and prioritize accordingly.
- Build one thing first - Most practices start with recall automation or no-show reduction. Both have measurable impact within the first month.
- Expand from results - We add the next workflow once the first is stable and showing results.
Pricing
Most practices start at $1,500-$3,000 for the first automation, with optional monthly maintenance. We don't sell packages - scope drives price.
